Back Cover Summary[]
They didn't like each other, Frankie Speed and Bob Bracewell. Bob reckoned Frankie was a ""flash harry"", while Frankie rated Bob as a ""plodding no-hoper."" Even when they both became Commandos, they'd have loved to spend the war trying to outdo one another.
But fate had something else in store for them. Something that involved a diehard Nazi fanatic and a blood red battle in which they'd have to work together if they were to stand any chance of winning.
